Located at 501 N Alamo, our Christian Science Reading Room provides literature about Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, as well as the Bible and its companion textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, along with other Christian Science study resources. Most items can be purchased, borrowed, or studied on-site.

Literature
The Christian Science periodicals are the organs of this Church. Each periodical is listed below, and subscriptions as well as individual copies are available at the Reading Room and online at JSH-Online.
- Monthly magazine: The Christian Science Journal, “designed to put on record the divine Science of Truth.”
- Weekly magazine: The Christian Science Sentinel, “intended to hold guard over Truth, Life, and Love.”
- Quarterly magazine: Der Herold der Christian Science (The Herold of Christian Science), “to proclaim the universal activity and availability of Truth.”
- Daily newspaper: The Christian Science Monitor, “to spread undivided the Science that operates unspent. The object of the Monitor is to injure no man, but to bless all mankind.”
